Sadio Mané is in the news again, but this time, not for his philanthropic work but for a romantic subject. The former Liverpool striker is known for keeping his personal life out of the public eye, but there was nothing he could do when news of his marriage to Aïssata Tamba made the rounds on social media. The couple celebrated their union in a chic wedding ceremony held in Keur Massar, Dakar, Senegal.

Here are 3 reasons why Sadio Mané decided to marry Aïssata Tamba:

Aïssata is a long-time player choice
The footballer has known his wife since they were teenagers, although the exact date the couple started dating remains unknown. The Al-Nassr attacker had made his intentions clear from the start: he wanted to marry her. Mané and Aïssata have come a long way since their childhood and it was completely normal that their love story culminated like this, in a beautiful union.

The star's long-term investment
As mentioned above, Mané has known Aïssata for a long time and he has been clear about his intentions for her. He was also allegedly responsible for paying the young woman's bills while she was a student at the Cabis school in Grand Mbao Baobab, Senegal.

Note that the beautiful wife of the Senegalese footballer, although the daughter of an architect, comes from a humble and modest background in Senegal, a West African country. Currently aged 31, Sadio Mané has decided to seal his love affair with his long-time partner, as he leads Senegal to defend their title at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Similar values
A quick glance at Sadio Mané and his new wife, Aïssata Tamba, reveals only one thing: shared values when it comes to private life. Sadio Mané, although one of the biggest names in football on the African continent, has continued to keep a low profile and maintain a frugal lifestyle. Interestingly, Aïssata also followed the same line as she is not active on any social media platform. The couple also has the same religious faith: Islam. Source: NetAfrique.net
