In a context marked by climate change, population growth, and increased international competition, the challenges related to agriculture and the agri-food sector have become highly strategic. Food security, local processing, and the resilience of agricultural systems are now at the heart of African countries' priorities.
Senegal is now emerging as one of the most dynamic agricultural and agri-food hubs in West Africa. Thanks to its strategic location, its access to the Atlantic Ocean, its investments in sustainable agriculture, and its innovation ecosystem, Dakar is an ideal regional hub for developing structuring economic partnerships.
Building on the success of previous editions, which have led to numerous concrete collaborations between African companies and international partners, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th African Agriculture and Agri-food Summit, which will be held from May 3 to 7, 2026, in Dakar, Senegal.

This 5th edition will particularly highlight balanced and mutually beneficial South-South cooperation, based on:

the transfer of technologies adapted to African realities;

the co-creation of local value;

the development of sustainable agricultural and agri-food value chains; and

long-term industrial, commercial, and financial partnerships between Africa and Turkey.

The summit is organized in partnership with Senegalese public and private institutions and organizations, economic actors and professional organizations from West Africa, Turkish partners in the agricultural and agri-food sector, as well as employers' organizations and investment promotion institutions.
